Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect very little, we don’t sell anything, and if you email us we’ll reply — we won’t add you to a list. The longer version is below.
This is a working privacy policy provided as a starting point. It should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before being relied upon, and updated to reflect your actual data-handling practices and the laws that apply to you (e.g. the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, CCPA/CPRA, GDPR). Until that review, treat it as informational rather than a final legal instrument.
This policy explains what information Web Design in Tampa FL (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects when you visit webdesignintampafl.us.com (the “Site”) or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site and to inquiries you send us by email or phone.
1. Information we collect
We try to collect the minimum we need to run the Site and respond to you.
- Information you give us. When you email support@misspepper.ai, call us, or otherwise reach out, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, email address, website URL, business details, and the contents of your message. We use this only to reply and, if it leads to work, to deliver that work.
- Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools may log standard technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps — to keep the Site secure, diagnose problems, and understand which pages are useful.
- Cookies and similar technologies. The Site uses a small number of cookies for essential functions (e.g. security, basic preferences) and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to sell your activity to third parties. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; the Site will still work if you do.
2. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- respond to your inquiries and provide the services you ask for;
- operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site;
- send transactional communications (e.g. project updates, invoices) to clients;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not add people who email us to marketing lists, and we do not run automated follow-up sequences.
3. When we share information
We share personal information only in these limited situations:
- Service providers. Vendors who help us run the business — for example hosting, email, analytics, payment processing — and only the data they need to perform that function on our behalf.
- Legal reasons. If required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Web Design in Tampa FL, our clients, or others.
- Business transfer. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
4. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here — for example, the duration of a client relationship plus any period required for legal, tax, or accounting reasons — and then delete or anonymize it. Inquiry emails that don’t lead to a relationship are kept for a reasonable period and then removed.
5. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), managed hosting, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security — but we take it seriously and we’ll act promptly if something goes wrong.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at support@misspepper.ai and we’ll respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. You can also:
- control cookies through your browser settings;
- opt out of any client communications you no longer want (project clients can simply tell us).
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
7. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
8. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites (for example, a client’s site or a tool we mention). We’re not responsible for their privacy practices; review their policies before sharing information with them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top, and for material changes we’ll take reasonable steps to notify affected clients. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
